The exhaust gas temperature of ordinary boiler is high, and the water vapor in it is overheated and exists in gaseous state. If the exhaust gas temperature is lowered sufficiently, the water vapor in the flue gas will condense and the latent heat of vaporization of condensed water can be utilized. The boiler that fully absorbs the waste heat of boiler flue gas and the latent heat of steam vaporization by condensing the water vapor in the flue gas is called a condensing boiler.
