Function of steam storage tank:

Store a certain amount of saturated or supersaturated steam for effective heat storage capacity;

The service temperature of steam tank is generally in the range of 100~230 ℃, and the nozzle requirements are customized according to the customer's on-site needs. After the installation of the steam tank, the external insulation is required to stabilize the steam temperature in the tank. The common external insulation materials are glass wool, aluminum silicate plate, etc., and the insulation thickness is generally not less than 80mm. The steam tank is equipped with safety accessories such as safety valve and pressure gauge.

The steam tank is a pressure vessel, which needs to be manufactured by a pressure vessel qualification unit; Before installation, use registration and use supervision management shall be carried out according to the requirements of TSG R0004 new volume regulation. For the safe operation of equipment, steam tank, safety valve and pressure gauge shall be calibrated regularly and used within the validity period.
