Industrial waste heat boiler, as its name implies, refers to a boiler that heats water to a certain temperature by using waste gas, waste or waste heat in various industrial processes and the heat generated after combustion of combustible materials. Oil fired boiler, gas fired boiler and coal-fired boiler with smoke box and flue waste heat recovery are also called waste heat boiler. Industrial waste heat boiler can produce hot water or steam for other sections through waste heat recovery.

Fuel oil, gas and coal combustion generate high-temperature flue gas to release heat. The high-temperature flue gas first enters the furnace, then enters the waste heat recovery device of the front smoke box, then enters the pyrotechnic tube, and then enters the waste heat recovery device in the flue of the rear smoke box. The high-temperature flue gas turns into low-temperature flue gas and is discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney. As the waste heat boiler greatly improves the utilization rate of heat released by fuel combustion, this kind of boiler is more energy-saving.

Waste heat boiler is divided into fire tube type and water tube type. Its structure is similar to that of industrial boiler. The fire tube waste heat boiler has a large water storage capacity and a small steam pressure fluctuation under the condition of flue gas volume and steam consumption fluctuation, but its evaporation capacity and steam pressure are limited by the drum diameter and operating conditions.
